Tokyo Auto Salon - Lexus IS-F Circuit Club Sport Concepts Debuts

Here are a few snapshots of the Lexus IS F CCS (Circuit Club Sport) Concept car which was on display at the Tokyo auto salon this past weekend. Dressed in a vibrant contrast of orange and black, the IS F CCS goes heavy on the carbon fiber. Or should we say "light". Much of the body has been rendered so, including the roof, rear wing and diffuser, front spoiler lip, the hood as well as the side mirrors. The interior also gets a do-over in carbon fiber, such as the center and lower consoles, gear stick, steering wheel trim and door panels. The IS F CCS is also fitted with two-tone bucket seats.

Bugatti Veyron $1,700,000. This is by far the most expensive street legal car available on the market today. It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-60 in 2.6 seconds. However, the title for the fastest car goes to the SSC Ultimate Aero which exceed 253 mph pushing this car to 2nd place for the fastest car.

Lamborghini Reventon $1,600,000. The most powerful and the most expensive Lamborghini ever built is the second on the list. It takes 3.3 seconds to reach 60 mph and it has a top speed of 211 mph. Its rarity (limited to 20) and slick design are the reasons why it is so expensive and costly to own.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera (2010) CAR review

This is the Superleggera for short, or in full, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, which sounds great when spoken quickly in Italian. Goes quickly too, thanks to a 562bhp V10 and a 1340kg kerbweight; do the maths and that’s 419bhp/tonne.

Think of the Superleggera as Lamborghini’s response to the threat of RS Porsches (GT3 and GT2), a pre-emptive strike against other lightened sports cars (M3 GTS, and R8 GT especially) and a beautifully Italian way of responding to the threat of the Ferrari 458. Here's CAR's first drive review.
